If the melting temperature of glass fiber is above 1000 ℃, as long as the construction procedure is normal, the thermal stability of glass fiber geogrid will be guaranteed in the paving operation.
3. Physical and chemical stability
Glass fiber is a kind of inorganic non-metallic material, which has excellent physical and chemical stability, can resist all kinds of physical wear and chemical erosion, can resist biological erosion and climate change, and has excellent performance of acid resistance, salt resistance, oxidation resistance, etc.
4. Anti creep
As a reinforced material, it is very important to have the ability to resist deformation under long-term load, that is, creep. Glass fiber will not creep, so as to ensure the long-term performance of the product.
5. Structural stability
The material applied in the post-treatment process of GFRP geogrid is designed for asphalt mixture. Each fiber is fully coated and has high compatibility with asphalt, so as to ensure that GFRP geogrid will not be isolated from asphalt mixture in the asphalt layer, but firmly combined.
At the same time, because the GFRP geogrid is a network structure, the aggregate in the asphalt concrete can penetrate through it, thus forming a mechanical interlock. This restriction hinders the movement of aggregate. It is that asphalt mixture can achieve better compaction state, higher bearing capacity and better load transfer performance under load.
