Geotextiles:

1. Geotextile is a kind of non-woven fabric which is often used in practice. It can be divided into short fiber needled non-woven geotextile and polyester filament spunbond needled non-woven geotextile, short silk cloth and long silk cloth for short. The other is machine woven geotextile with filament.

2. The tensile force of long silk cloth with the same weight is higher than that of short silk cloth, and the thickness of short silk cloth is generally thicker than that of long silk cloth.

3. Geotextile is also known as permeable geotextile because of its good water permeability. It has the function of reinforcement protection and filtration in road maintenance, airport, landfill and other projects. The low permeability coefficient of geomembrane makes it have excellent anti-seepage and isolation effect.

Geomembrane:

1. Geomembrane is a kind of polymer which is made of polyethylene particles by extrusion and film blowing process.

2. Geomembrane has good flexibility, tensile ductility, puncture resistance and low permeability coefficient, and its main characteristics are impermeability and isolation.

3. The geomembrane is divided into white transparent and black ones. Generally, the black ones are mostly used because of the addition of double resistances. Double resistances refer to the addition of antioxidants and UV resistant auxiliary materials. The white ones are mainly used in the tunnel, that is, the tunnel waterproof board.

There are some differences in the performance of geotextile and geomembrane, but they do not hinder the mixed use of the two to play a magical effect.
