Construction technology of Geogrid

(1) First, the subgrade slope line shall be set out accurately. In order to ensure the subgrade width, each side shall be widened by 0.5m. After the foundation soil is leveled, the 25t vibrating roller shall be used for static pressing twice, and then the 50t vibrating roller shall be used for four times. The uneven place shall be leveled manually. (2) The geogrid is paved with 0.3m thick medium (coarse) sand. After manual and mechanical leveling, the 25t vibrating roller is static pressed twice. (3) The geogrid shall be laid, and the bottom surface of the geogrid shall be flat and dense. Generally, the geogrid shall be laid flat and straight without overlapping, curling or kinking. The two adjacent geogrids shall be overlapped by 0.2m, and the overlapped part of the geogrid shall be connected with No. 8 iron wire every 1m along the transverse direction of the subgrade, and the U-shaped nails shall be used to fix the geogrid on the ground every 1.5-2m. (4) After the first layer of geogrid is paved, the second layer of medium (coarse) sand with thickness of 0.2m will be filled. The method is that the sand will be transported to the construction site by car and unloaded on one side of the subgrade, and then pushed forward by bulldozer. First fill 0.1M within 2m of both sides of the subgrade, turn the first layer of geogrid up and then fill with medium (coarse) sand with thickness of 0.1M. It is forbidden to fill and push both sides to the middle, and various machines are forbidden The machine passes on the geogrid without filling medium (coarse) sand, so as to ensure that the geogrid is flat, does not bulge or wrinkle. After the second layer medium (coarse) sand is flat, the horizontal measurement shall be carried out to prevent uneven filling thickness. After the leveling is correct, the 25t vibration roller shall be used for static pressing twice. (5) The construction method of the second layer of geogrid is the same as that of the first layer. At last, fill 0.3m medium (coarse) sand. The filling method is the same as that of the first layer. After static pressing twice with 25t roller, the subgrade base reinforcement will be completed. (6) After the third layer of medium (coarse) sand is rolled, two geogrids shall be laid on both sides of the slope longitudinally along the line, with an overlap of 0.16m, and connected in the same way. Then the earthwork construction shall be started, and the geogrid shall be laid for slope protection. The laid sideline must be measured for each layer, and each side shall ensure that the geogrid is buried 0.10m in the slope after the slope renovation. (7) When the slope geogrid is filled with two layers of soil, i.e. 0.8m thick, a layer of geogrid shall be laid on both sides at the same time, and so on, until it is laid under the soil on the shoulder surface.

(8) After the subgrade is filled, the side slope shall be repaired in time, and the dry rubble protection at the slope toe shall be carried out. In addition to widening 0.3m on each side of the subgrade, 1.5% settlement shall be reserved.
