People who have some knowledge of geogrids should know that there are many types of geogrids. Different types of geogrids are suitable for different construction environments. In many cases, we will not use the same type of geogrids. So what kind of geogrid do we usually use when building gardens?

The unidirectional geogrid is a kind of geogrid. It uses macromolecule polymer as the main raw material, adding certain anti ultraviolet and anti-aging AIDS. After unidirectional tension, the original scattered chain molecules are rearranged in a linear state, extruded into thin sheets, then punching holes, and then longitudinally stretched into high strength geomembrane. 1、 Architectural Landscape: it is required to be flat, level, clean and prominent.　　

2、 Waterproof and drainage speed: in reinforced soil engineering, it is absolutely necessary to punish the internal and external drainage of the wall. Do a good job of foot protection and erosion prevention; the soil should be set with the speed of filtration and drainage. If necessary, Geotextiles and permeable pipes or blind ditches should be set to ensure that the drainage is not blocked, otherwise there will be hidden dangers.

3、 Laying of unidirectional geogrid: in flat and compacted garden, the stress deflection (longitudinal) of one-way geogrid laid shall be perpendicular to the axis of embankment. The laying shall be smooth and free from wrinkles, even if it is tensioned. It is better to lay one-way geogrid. The stress deviation does not consider the overall length. The connection between amplitude and amplitude can be bound and overlapped manually. The overlap width is not less than 10cm. If the unidirectional geogrid is set at more than two layers, the interlayer joints shall be staggered. After large area laying, its straightness should be adjusted. When filling a layer of soil, the one-way geogrid shall be re tensioned by manpower or machines and tools before rolling. The strength should be symmetrical so that the unidirectional geogrid can be stretched and stressed in the soil.

4. Selection of fillers: the fillers shall be selected according to the plan. It has been proved that they can be used as fillers except frozen soil, marsh soil, domestic garbage, chalk soil and diatomite. However, the mechanical properties of sand gravel soil and sand soil are stable and less affected by water content. Therefore, they should be selected first. The particle size of filler shall not be greater than 15cm, and the grading of filler shall be strictly controlled to cover the compacted weight of pipeline.

5、 Filling paving and compaction: after the unidirectional geogrid is laid and positioned, it shall be wrapped with fill in time, and the exposure time shall not exceed 48 hours. The flow operation mode of laying and backfilling at the same time can also be adopted. First pave and fill at both ends, one-way geogrid is firm, and then push forward to the middle. The rolling sequence is from two sides to the middle. When rolling, the roller can not directly collide with the reinforcement, and the UN compacted reinforcement is usually not allowed to drive on it, so as to avoid the dislocation of reinforcement. Compact 20-30cm in layers. The degree of compaction must meet the requirements of the scheme, which is also the key to the success or failure of reinforced soil engineering.
